Clarence George "Rocky" Johnson (79) Passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 13, 2017 at the Colville Tribal Convalescent Center in Nespelem, Washington. Rocky was born Monday, November 22, 1937 in Northport, Washington to Clarence Selmer & Gloria Augustus-Johnson. A member of Colville Confederated Tribes, Rocky worked most of his life as a truck driver for various employers such as Sims Trucking, Perez Trucking and for the Colville Tribe. Rocky's other specialty was as a great cook at "The Sage" in Grand Coulee, Washington, the café at the Trading Post in Nespelem, Washington, and as operator of...

Clarence George "Rocky" Johnson (79) Passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 13, 2017 at the Colville Tribal Convalescent Center in Nespelem, Washington. Rocky was born Monday, November 22, 1937 in Northport, Washington to Clarence Selmer & Gloria Augustus-Johnson. A member of Colville Confederated Tribes, Rocky worked most of his life as a truck driver for various employers such as Sims Trucking, Perez Trucking and for the Colville Tribe. Rocky's other specialty was as a great cook at "The Sage" in Grand Coulee, Washington, the café at the Trading Post in Nespelem, Washington, and as operator of his own catering truck. Rocky enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends the Omak Moose Lodge #1492 and Okanogan Eagles Lodge #3004, where he was known to enjoy a dance, when the mood struck him.

Predeceased by both of his parents and two great-grandchildren; Rocky is survived by his children: Juel Renee Franco (Floyd), C. Vernon Johnson (Wanda), Donna Sue Johnson and Gloria Jo-Ann Green; grandchildren: Casey, Carey, Jacquelyn, Shawna, Sandra, Floyd, Edith, Gilbert, T.J., Jared, Desiree, Rachelle and Jolene "Roxy"; thirty-five great-grandchildren and his brother: Gus Johnson (Karol).

A Celebration of Rocky's Life will take place at the longhouse in Omak (Date & Time to be announced). At his request cremation has taken place.
